Hmm, updates...

Changes at the back end seem to have affected the website databases in the last day or so.  I received word from our hosts last night that the move was complete, so things should settle back down...

Was not happy with the old look, and it's not too hard to change them using WordPress, what do you think...

Snowed overnight and whilst only an inch or some, the chaos continues and I'm back home already having failed to arrive (again) I wonder if it's the same in Norway..?

At least that's how I feel after this last week at work.  Bollocks'd...

Still it seems that despite being tired and grumpy, it might actually be good for me...

Whoa, finally here and actually worth the wait as you can see below.  Site posting will resume, but I have a lot of updates/patches/Eve-Online to sort this evening...

Well, we're in, have no TV/Internet/Phone and more crap than I can recall seeing outside of your soap opera of choice.  Lot's of jobs to carry out and limited time in the week to do so.  On the plus side, the place is bigger/better than we recall and the area is fabulously quiet.

Oh, I'm using my mobile phone as a modem, which is a bit like dial up... :poop:

Well it took until 16:11 hours today to get contracts exchanged, so we move house tomorrow, at some point... 8-)

Now if we can get our stuff from the removals people before Saturday...

OK, I'm typing this on a laptop, on the ironing board which failed to go sat sat on a patio chair which we're leaving behind, and still seething. :poop:

Well, today the last of the house went in the back of a lorry and the contracts were supposed to be exchanged.  Sadly, the retarded solicitor for the punters at the bottom of the chain claimed he had no idea everyone was trying to be in their new houses for 30 Sep and had not arranged for the money to be available to move from the bank to pay for their new flat - bullshit of course and if I could have got my hands round his pencil-neck this afternoon when I found out... :silly:

So, this thief of both the world's oxygen supply and our money says it will be actioned today and ready for Tuesday, the day before our deadline.  I'm sure this is going to end well... :knife:

Checking delivery dates with the removal people still shows Sat, some 4 days after we should have moved as they are fully booked.

House moving is upon us, well at least our kit is almost entirely gone, however some people on the chain are causing delays which means we'll be living like gypsies for about a week to 10 days.  Not sure at what point we lose connectivity etc and my laptop has already been taken... :rain:
